"For me, helping others thrive is
a calling. I am deeply passionate about what I do."
The Brave Steps program is designed to target the root emotional cause of disease and suffering, and is rooted in effective somatic and neuro-holistic methods that have been proven to bring about lasting change.
I understand that every individual is unique, which is why I create a customized treatment plan that caters to your specific needs and human experiences. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to simply provide you with the tools and support you need to achieve your goals.

I was born into a family of highly creative and highly intuitive people whose abilities also included clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance, and clairsentience. I have been gifted with the ability to tap into them all to some degree throughout my life. I am also drawn to, and have studied and become skilled in many Earth-based medicines which continue to inform my practice.

My earliest work as a small child was with animals: I was constantly being presented with opportunities to heal small critters, birds and stray dogs that I would find on our 42 acre parcel located in the heart of the Fraser Canyon while I was out exploring the local flora and fauna deep in the woods. My mother used to say that they would find me. As I got older, my healing interactions with animals focused on equine therapy, and I became adept at healing my own reckless mare who was an accident waiting to happen. My services then extended to helping others with their horses.
I have always held a deep passion and need to help others and make a difference in the world. Human sciences and psychologies fascinate me, being an avid, life-long learner constantly seeking leading-edge resources and ways of being of healing service in our world. In my twenties, I studied Sports Medicine, became a massage therapist, and a Chartered Herbalist.

It is also my belief that much of what we endure as humans having human experiences, can be dealt with on our own: learning the subtle language of the body and how to interpret it is part of the Brave Steps methodology. This empowers each of us to facilitate our own healing, much of which can be done without the need for prescription medications or years of talk-therapy.

The decades have seen me dive into a plethora of interests, mainly around human bio-fields and energy work. I hold valid Certification and Credentialing in many science-backed methodologies such as HeartMath, EFT/TFT, NADA Protocol Auricular Acupuncture, Therapeutic Touch, Aromatherapy, Art Therapy, Compassion therapy, Breath Work, TRE, Somatic Movement, Neuro-Psychosomatics, and Transgenerational Therapy. I also received my YFL Level 1 in Yoga, certification in Life Coaching, and Fitness Leadership recognition.

Professionally within the Mental Health arena, and as a Registered Psychiatric nurse, my training has also provided me with Indigenous Cultural Competency, ASIST Certification, CBT/DBT training, Core Beliefs training, Addictions Medicine, Palliation, LEADS training through BCIT and numerous other related skills.

I am a true healer by every definition. I am highly intuitive, with the ability to accurately decipher energy into tangible dialogue with the body. My methods have been honed and perfected over 30 years, and together with my deep interest in Mental Health and neuroscience, I have developed the Brave Steps Program: a method of assisting others to gain the freedom and wellness that is our birthright.
